Tropical thunder from sunny Cairns with Shad Wicka [Cairns Hit 103.5] & fellow comedian Richo. It's Episode #11 with the lads from Guilt Free Comedy. One year ago Cairns had no stand up comedy scene so these dudes wanted to perform so they put together some open mic comedy rooms & gave people a space for comedy to develop! The Guilt Free crew have put together a roadshow which they'll be running at the 2018 Adelaide Fringe Festival. We begin the festivities with a lady who's in a relationship with a bridge: and it all goes down hill from there. It was great to hear about the cool things that Guilt Free Comedy have been doing. I found out more about that, we spoke about religion, experiences in the mental ward and close the show out with a startling revelation about “Cher – Believe”. We've been wrong about the lyrics all these years.
They have plenty of great stuff coming up in 2018 so keep an eye out, get to one of their shows!=======================Support Guilt Free Comedy=======================

Who better to have at my 10th birthday than one of my oldest pals – Twiggy Carter from the band Balloons Kill Babies [QLD] in the funniest episode yet – hands down!! I met Twiggy when he was about 15. He roadied for my band Enlightened By Darkness and was always a huge supporter of ours. Then he created this band, and Jesus tap-dancing Christ are they good. Progressive, atmospheric metal/rock perfection.
We start the show off with a double header: TWO clips of online insanity. A lady eats pottery & cigarette butts PLUS a dude who hoards butt plugs. How can you lose with quality programming like this? BKB have released a bunch of cool music and it was great to sit down and find out about the process behind the music. We definitely spoke about the band, but Twiggy & I have a tendency for tangential retardation: so this one went everywhere!
There's some questionable impressions. There's some terrible comments. “Cvnty Questions” gets the show rockin' and the BKB track “Illuzia” at the end of the episode. Twiggy and I both know a gentleman who we'll call “Ted”. Ted is an associate of ours who is a gold mine of ridiculous stories: we delve into a bunch of our favourites. Too hot for TV!
If you want a sick drinking game – take a shot every time you hear “Balloons Kills Babies: they're an instrumental band [no singer]” in the podcast. It became a running theme & you will get drunk. ENJOY!

BREAKING NEWS: It's Episode #09 & the biggest name in comedy today Sean Conway is in the house.
Sean has just finished a national Australian tour with the great Tony Hinchcliffe and has shared the stage with legends like Tom Green, Steve O, Ari Shaffir & Dom Irrera. He's a former winner of the WA RAW Comedy Competition and look, it's hard to pull off an entire show based around serial killers but he pulled that sh#t off big time.[This episode has a world exclusive] Conway has big news, easily the biggest moment in his comedy career. I'm stoked to be able to break the story here. Man, I'm so proud of him with this one.We start the show off with a clanger of a clip from the internet. It was dogsh#t. We made up for it later with the fine people of London's poly-amorous unicorn cult. Neither of us a professional athlete, I'm sure it's a shocking realisation: well, we talk about when we gave it a try.
Sean talks a lot about his experiences performing in America, his run with Tony Hinchcliffe and a lot of insight into the life of a hungry, professional comedian. Carwash Comedy is a sick pro comedy room in Perth (WA) [yes, inside a Car-Wash] and it is co-run by Sean, it is the most fun night you could have at a comedy show and Sean talks about how the room originated.
Episode #09 is a super-duper-mega-fun show & you should support the hell out of Sean Conway! [before he blows up and you can't afford tickets]==================Support Sean Conway==================Website: https://www.totalconway.com/Facebook, Twitter, Instagram:@totalconway

Epsiode #08. OH YEAH! It's Stu McGill from Australia's Power Metal Knights [punfun]: SILENT KNIGHT! These guys have been crushing it across the globe & they're a great bunch of shredders. Stu is a great dude and it was cool to pick his musical brains. We kick things off with a dude that loves to date grandmas. I'm not judging the guy, but he's way too young for that to be normal. We spoke about the band, their recent travels to Europe & approach to songwriting. Stu runs a number of gigs [Stormrider Festival/Rising Force] including All Ages shows: which is really important and something we got into a bit too.
Stu is a really good example of a guy that has a family and still manages to keep all the balls in the air with work, band, running shows and keeping a happy homelife. You could learn a lot from the guy!Get some Silent Knight power metal goodness   m/  m/EPISODE OUTRO SONG: Silent Knight – The Masterplan ========================[ SUPPORT SILENT KNIGHT ]========================Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/silentknightbandWebsite:http://www.powermetalsupreme.comWebstore:http://www.silentknightband.bigcartel.comStormrider Festival:https://www.facebook.com/stormriderfestivalRising Force All Ages Festival:https://www.facebook.com/risingforcefestival

Hey there kids. It's Douglas the dancing clown. It's episode #7 and we're back with comedians Mick Gledhill and Bruno Oliveira for some killer shit.
We start the show off with a dude that lives as a dog, a man who may have missed out on a few hugs growing up. We spoke about racism in Australia and being a former soldier, Mick gives the down-low on some problems within the military. The world's getting soft and we don't like it – thoughts? How good is Steven Seagal! *COUGH*
Bruno and Douglas both have the dead-eyed stare of a serial killer - isn't that sweet? We chat about sociopathic friends, comedians who won't get the f#ck off stage at comedy shows. THIS is the episode that introduces “The Cuddle Pimp” to the world!!! What more do you want??
If you can't handle these cuddles – find yourself another podcast.
Disclaimer: All cuddles given and received on this show have been consensual in nature.

Episode #06 of the Hyper Manic Noize Podcast is here so get ready to groove with Brenton [aka Reggie], bass shredder for musical mutants OSAKA PUNCH [QLD]. They've been hitting the road promoting their new single "How We Operate" [check out the single at the end of the show!!] and we sat down for a “Death Monster Super Pod”. We learned about Jesus through a geriatric rap group [complete with gratuitous N-bombs] and Reggie fills me in on the Osaka Punch story. We discuss my theory about bassists vs someone who plays bass, almost missing their flight to Perth, the band's albums and videos and the prospect of eating a band member's member [the usual highbrow hijinx you've come to expect from the show].These guys are a bloody awesome band and you can see them in March 2018 when they support The Butterfly Effect on their national reunion tour. Thanks heaps to Reggie, this show was a f#ckload of fun and you're going to enjoy the hell out of it!Throw those headphones on and join the Death Monster Super Squad![Douglas Harvey]=================Follow OSAKA PUNCH!!!=================Website: http://osakapunch.com/Webstore: https://osakapunch.bandcamp.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/osakapunch/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/osakapunchofficial

Metal on Metal!! Who's that on Episode #05? Steve "Lips" Kudlow of metal demigods ANVIL[Canada]: that's who eh!
Speaking with Lips inspired the shit out of me. We're talking about a guy that's been busting his arse since 1978, released 16 killer albums, faced more downs than ups [for much of that time] and eventually made it: on HIS terms. The guy has a METAL spirit of integrity & determination like I've never seen before.
Lips shared some stories about his friendships with Lemmy and Dave Grohl, we talked about Anvil's forthcoming album, the heavy metal grind, why Judas Priest trumps Maiden and the film "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" [the most powerful music doco of all time]. I even run a few prospective titles past Lips for an "Anvil P0rn Parody"
New album "Pounding The Pavement" is out Jan 19th 2018 & you can support the band directly via their PledgeMusic campaign & get yourself some tasty rewards.A HUGE thanks to LIPS for his insight & inspiration![Douglas Harvey]

Rock and Roll bitches it's Episode #04!! This week I get my chat on with one of Perth's finest comedians; Mr Jez Watts!!! We open the show with a dude who's in a relationship with 15 inflatable animals. Is that too many? Is he the Hugh Hefner of pool toys? You Decide!!!!

We go deep into the art of stand up, talk fuckwit promoters who rip off comedians, appreciate the fine art of pornography & discuss Jez's background as a research scientist. Jez has supported Brian Posehn (USA) & Joe Mande (USA) & is fresh off a SOLD OUT run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Jez hosts the Brief Interviews With Hideous Men Podcast & is the creator of Infinite Jest.

In other GREAT news, the Hyper Manic Noize Podcast is now part of the Infinite Jest Comedy Network. FUCK-YEAH!

WASSUP!! Welcome to Episode #02 of the Hyper Manic Noize Podcast with the “Dogfather Of Comedy” Mick Gledhill.
Mick is a fucking amazing comedian & such an interesting bloke. If every podcast I do manages to be half this funny, I'll be a millionaire before Christmas.
It seemed befitting of a podcast with “The Dogfather” to kick the show off with a clip from a documentary called “Animal Fuckers”. We spoke about Mick's time in the armed forces, Jesus freaks, our travels through amsterdam, attending a sexy “dart show” in Thailand & the time his ex tried to murder him with a jet ski.
Why are you still reading this? F#cking download it already!
