It's E#31 & "The Cuddle Pimp" Bruno Oliveira is back in the house. One of the funniest, most uncompromising guys in the game.
We get an introduction to pole dancing for Jesus, go deep into sociopaths, pathological liars and religion. I remember the time I was an accessory to the crime of a "drive-by suplex". Fun for the whole family [Except Mum, Nan, Grandad, the Kids and your weird Uncle]
It has been a home-run every time Bruno's been on the show & this one is no exception.====================== www.hypermanicnoize.com

And now for something completely different it's Episode #30: Douglas vs Douglas. Mental health is an issue that's stigmatised & minimalised, yet every one us will be effected by it directly or indirectly at some stage. I would go as far as saying it's the most important facet of life. What's the point in being physically healthy if you have a gun in your mouth?I'm a person who is incredibly open about mental health issues & I am this way because there is value in honesty. There is value in understanding that we're not alone in this life, & I know that hearing other people's stories has helped me. I've got quite a lot of heavy sh*t going on in my life at the moment, & I recorded this episode purely as a means of catharthis. I was at the end of my tether, so I decided to go all "Podcast Freudian" & talk it out.... with myself.I didn't intend to show it to anyone but after I listened to it, I thought it might actually be of some value to people out there who struggle with their mental health. Keep fighting the fight, and seek help, talk to a friend or even message me at the facebook page. If I'm the only muppet who will listen at least there's one muppet on your side.Let's all make this world a better place you mad dogs!! Hello friends! It's Episode#29 with one of my oldest friends: Tim Price. Pricey runs The Faction Radio [where you can hear me] as well as Collision Course PR. You've come to the right place for advice about getting ahead in the entertainment industry, as well as some gold stories from our years in the beef capital.Pricey and I met at a music industry workshop in 2005 in Rockhampton [Central QLD]. The Butterfly Effect were the guest speakers, & Tim and I [being sheltered country boys] were star struck. That day planted a seed in both of us. I ended up playing in bands: & making my way to podcasting & comedy. Pricey went from playing in bands to starting his own radio station [The Faction] as well as doing PR for everyone from Rise Against to Steel Panther & Meshuggah. Oh yeah, on top of being a regular presenter at Music industry conferences around the country. Fun story: when The Butterfly Effect released their catalogue on vinyl last year Tim was the guy who promoted it. Nice to see his success bring him full circle in such a cool way.We start the show off with a vegan rap. Pricey isn't a fan. Pricey reminds me of the time he vomited in my bag when while we were attending a music industry conference. I wasn't a fan. We talk about the sh!thole we come from, sack-whacks, PR "dos and don'ts" & much more.Get "The Faction Radio" NOW:www.thefaction.live

Hello friends! For episode #28 I'm joined by “2018 Woman Of The Year” [as voted by me], my fiancee & much better half: TEESH! Ever wondered about growing up on a farm? Did you realise it includes eating your pets? That's not a typo.... Imagine eating MULTIPLE pets that you've hand raised & bonded with. The dog ran away and it was too much of a pain in the ar$e to get him from the pound so he stayed there. The pet pig Wilbur had a rough ending too [don't want to spoil it]. Jesus Tap Dancing Christ; it's baffling she's not a serial killer.
When there's cattle to be bred there's no time for f*ckin' around with pets or feelings. Speaking of which, you've come to the right place if you want to learn about artificially inseminating cows. Quality cows come from quality straws. Straws of what? Listen and learn you Muppet!
Thanks as always for listening, please share the show & leave a comment or a thumbs up.

Welcome back to the Epsiode #27! On this week's podcast I had the pleasure of catching up for a fascinating chat with electric vehicle expert Mark Winstanley.
Mark formerly served as the Vice-Chairman of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association & through his company Direct Technical Services, he designs/builds electric bikes & repairs everything from Teslas to mobility scooters & model aircraft. In addition to all of this Mark works for one of Perth's top Universities designing, repairing & calibrating research equipment. Mark is one of those people that's just way too talented & intelligent. Speaking to him makes me feel as bright as an 8 year old with a head injury.
A real passion of mine is aviation & it was great to dig into Mark's expert opinion on the future of electric aviation. We spoke about what's on the horizon for electric cars & driverless vehicles, I try to talk him into building me a plane & get his thoughts on whether an ability to see farts would be a helpful attribute. I say yes.
Thanks for tuning in to another show. Please share it with your friends, give it a like on YouTube or a 5 Star Rating on iTunes! Grab a bevvy & learn some sh#t about the world of electric vehicles with Mark Winstanley.

Episode #26 has arrived & I'm pumped to have a true, multi-faceted individual on the show: Mr Andy Dowling. Andy is the bassist for Australia's premier traditional/power/hard rock band LORD & is also the host of TWO podcasts [The Andy Social Podcast & The Self Starter Podcast]. Some of his guests include Vinny & Carmine Appice, Tony Barber, Leroy Loggins and Michael Cusack.
LORD have just released a new live album titled “LORD - Live at Progpower”, an album which documents the band's headlining slot at the "Progpower USA Festival". LORD [spawned from the ashes of metal legends DUNGEON] are a fantastic band & smack-bang in the middle of the show you can check out “Footsteps In The Sand” live from the album! At the end of the podcast I've included the interview Andy & I did for The Faction Radio which will tell you all you need to know about what's happening with the band. As for the podcast.......
A dude shat in my car on Thursday & I felt like Andy needed to know right away. We kick the show off with an audition. I recorded my 2 year old niece singing some songs, & it turned out better than I had dreamed. I get Andy's expert opinion to see if she has what it takes to make it in the music business. We spoke about our shameful fan-boy experiences [making a tit of ourselves when meeting famous people]. We discuss the plague of baby pictures infesting our newsfeeds, life in rural queensland, racism, religion & social anxiety.
It's an absolute ripper of an episode, thanks so much to Andy & to everyone who keeps tuning in every week.  Douglas Harvey

Alright punks we're back with Episode #25 and I'm super stoked to have Bruno Oliveira back on the show. Bruno has the 2nd most appearances on the show, he's by far one of the most popular guests and I always have a sh#tload of fun when he's on.We start the show off with a 47 year old transgender person whol now lives life as a six year old girl. I'll let that sit for a minute...... We then get into some of Bruno's wild adventures in Thailand, terrible sex stories and I give Bruno a lesson in extreme metal: which entertained the f#ck out of me.  Bruno is a RAW Comedy State Finalist and is one of the hardest working, unique and god-damned hilarious acts out there today: plus, he's total gary goodc#nt. Get on board!

It's Episode #24 and I have the hilarious Simone Springer and Lucy Ewing in the house! Simone is a comedian, author, radio host & the first ever guest I had on the podcast; so I'm pumped to have her back! Lucy is an hilarious comedian, teacher and Mum. I've seen her perform around Perth a lot over the past year, given that both ladies perform together as a part of "The Motherhood" I figured it was a good opportunity to have them on the show.Lucy taught me that the "C Word" is crap: I've been so wrong all these years! We spoke about the fun that is religion and resident douchelords in the comedy scene. Somehow we ended up talking about Johnny Depp's personal life and what it is like being a Mum [which sound f#cking horrible to tell you the truth].Thank you for the support, please follow Lucy and Simone in their comedy adventures.www.facebook.com/lucyewingcomedywww.facebook.com/simonejspringer

It's Episode 23: All hail Michael Jordan! On this episode I was lucky enough to speak to Spencer Chamberlain, lead vocalist for UNDEROATH [USA]. Underoath took some time away for a few years, and after a short run of reunion shows they began writing again and have put out an absolute sack ripper of an album.Underoath were famously lumped into the "Christian Metal" basket for many years (which is how I found the band funnily enough). The guys have all since left that nonsense behind [hallelujah] & are now just dudes, with no agenda aside from writing honest music. The new album ERASE ME is out NOW via Fearless Records!Check out the new Underoath single "On My Teeth" at the start of the show & also the track GOD by bloodredskies at the end of the interview. This is a track from my solo project & it seemed a fitting inclusion given the subject matter of the podcast.Thank you as always for all of the spport from around the globe. Hi friends! Welcome to Episode #22 with two of my good mates Jamie Kay and Louis Rando from DEPRAVITY. Depravity are like all your favourite death metal bands rolled into one, and given the other bands these guys have been in; it is no wonder [Pathogen, Malignant Monster, The Furor, Inanimacy & about 100 more].We spoke about the bands forthcoming album and met a woman who eats her bed. We share a few "behind the scenes" stories of a creative crackhead rock star, argue about Nu Metal, pay our dim-witted respects to Sir Stephen Hawking & discuss how little women know about our peeners. The usual high-brow hi-jinx that you've come to enjoy on the show.Depravity are set to release their debut album "Evil Upheaval" on May 12th at The Amplifier Bar in Perth [Western Australia] via Transcending Obscurity Records. PLEASE spread the word about the podcast & support DEPRAVITY
